''Detroit 1-8-7'' is an American television police drama created by Jason Richman that ran on ABC from September 21, 2010 to March 20, 2011. The one-hour drama stars Michael Imperioli as Detective Louis Fitch, a homicide detective with the Detroit Police Department. On October 25, 2010 ABC announced the order of an additional 5 episodes to bring the first season to 18 episodes. The thirteenth episode, "Road To Nowhere", was initially scheduled for January 18, 2011 but was replaced with a 20/20 special interview with Mark E. Kelly, the husband of U.S. Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords who is believed to have been the intended target in the shooting near Tucson, Arizona ten days before.
